PHINNEY BISCHOFF HELPS LAUNCH TRIOS HEALTH
Press Release, Posted on November 14, 2013
Seattle, Wash. (November 14, 2013) – Last month people in the Tri-Cities may have thought their eyes were playing tricks on them. There appeared to be a new trend in green tattoos. A new breed of green dogs made an appearance at the local dog show. And as dancers dressed from head to toe in green costumes sprung up around town, it was clear something was up.
The Kennewick Public Health District Board of Commissioners announced that effective October 10, 2013, Kennewick General Hospital (KGH) changed its name to Trios Health — a name that represents the Tri-Cities, the past/present/future and three aspects of holistic health: mind, body and spirit. All of the green sightings were part of a “SeeingGreen1010” teaser campaign leading up to the significant announcement for the new brand, which embraces green as a dominant color based on its connections to nature, growth and health.
In preparation for this big day, Trios engaged a team of partners to tackle this big endeavor over a year ago. Phinney Bischoff’s role was focused on bringing the new brand to life with the public through an advertising campaign. We worked hand-in-hand with brand consultants, digital strategists, production crews, photographers and more.
PB began by developing an interim ad campaign this summer, which signaled subtle changes in appearance and tone. This was merely a stepping-stone to the big reveal on October 10th. The 60-year old community hospital evolved into a state-of-the-art integrated health system, and this was introduced publicly through select ads with the bold message, “It’s more than a new name. It’s a new era.”
It didn’t stop there — Phinney Bischoff created a series of TV, radio, print, transit and banner ads to communicate the underlying theme that is authentic to Trios Health — “However you need us. Whenever you need us. We’re with you for life.” It embraces their heritage, while speaking to the compassionate, physician-driven, and community-minded spirit of the organization. The ads capture the essence of the Tri-Cities and Mid-Columbia region and were produced in collaboration with local partners. With the ads launching publicly last month, we received praise from our client:
“I’ve known from DAY ONE that Phinney Bischoff was the right creative partner in all of this. I have deep respect for their opinions and approach to things. And, I know that because of our open communication and commitment this is all going to be amazing.” — Lisa Teske, Director, Marketing & Business Development, Trios Health
