Early this month, we assembled after work to support one of our favorite organizations, FareStart, for Guest Chef Night. The monthly Guest Chef events raise funds for FareStart’s adult culinary program, which helps transform the lives of homeless and disadvantaged men and women through culinary training and job placement services.
Donning our aprons and most comfortable shoes, we served 131 diners throughout the evening as they enjoyed Guest Chef Brian Sheehser’s specially created menu. Together, we helped raise $10,114.47 — enough to cover one adult student's total experience at FareStart, including training and wrap-around support services. We are proud to help support this wonderful organization.
