As Gelatiamo’s 20-year anniversary was approaching, founder Maria Coassin recognized the need to elevate her brand in conjunction with a major cafe remodel. She was seeking a creative partner to evolve and bring clarity to her brand, with the goal of increased brand awareness and advocacy as well as customer engagement.
Uncovering the brand’s essence and values set us on a path to establish a unique positioning among Seattle frozen treat offerings as well as the development of a new tagline and strategic messaging platform, laying the foundation for clear communication within various marketing channels. We developed a fresh logo mark and visual brand expression, including cafe signage, interior design elements, packaging, collateral, merchandise, and sales materials.
Gelatiamo has enjoyed an increase in event opportunities, media coverage, social media engagement, and wholesale inquiries since the refresh. We provided Gelatiamo with a clear foundation from which to build a consistent brand expression, and as we continue to extend the core messages and visuals across all communication channels, this consistency and increased visibility will, in time, translate to increased brand recognition and advocacy.
