A New Era
The Seattle Symphony was undergoing a shift in artistic vision, and needed an updated brand presence that would preserve its historic mission as well as create more relevancy and exposure in the Northwest arts community.
As we entered into the discovery process, a consistent theme emerged from our findings with stakeholders: the symphony’s need to reclaim its pioneering spirit. We worked to infuse that notion into a modern, forward-thinking brand, creating the tagline “Listen Boldly” alongside a compelling new logo.
Changing Perceptions and Ticket Sales
Our work culminated in the launch of Seattle Symphony’s new website, the first place many would encounter the new brand. The website and logo were received positively by subscribers, donors, ticket buyers, and concertgoers, who were appreciators of culture and also benefitted from an improved user experience. The symphony’s shift into relevancy as a provider of the arts not only changed perception to key audiences, but showed an increase of season ticket sales and concert attendance.
